Maintained by DataSpark and housed at the University of Rhode Island, Rhode Island’s Statewide Longitudinal Data System (DataHUB), is one of the largest data warehouses in the state, consisting of datasets from several state agencies including the Department of Education, the Department of Labor and Training, and the Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner.

With support from the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) Workforce Data Quality Initiative (WDQI), Rhode Island has created an interactive site that demonstrates, through dashboards and stories, linkages between K-12, Postsecondary Education, and the Workforce. This site will enable policymakers and stakeholders to track student performance over time, assist agencies in evaluating program performance, answer questions across systems; and better communicate outcomes related to education and workforce programs.

The primary purpose of the Talent Dashboard is to:

Promote further systems integration for better policy analysis and public transparency

Analyze the trajectory of residents as they move along the education to workforce continuum

Track real-time metrics that reflect progress and measure the impact of programs

Yield reports and visualizations that policymakers and practitioners can use to make evidence-based decisions
