Quality workforce training not only helps job seekers obtain good jobs, it improves the efficiency of Rhode Island businesses and helps create a sustainable economy. But how do we know if our workforce programs result in positive, long-term outcomes for participants? By evaluating pre and post-training wages of participants, we can determine if the training we are investing in places job seekers in careers that result in wage increases upon completion of training, steady wage increases over time and wages comparable to Rhode Island’s general population. This interactive dashboard can be used to evaluate which programs result in higher average post-training wages by applying the program filter. In addition, users can disaggregate visuals by demographic categories or filter by industry to understand what training participants are earning based on the industry they are placed in.
